Although the PageRank of your website is not really much of an indication of anything except a mild look at the incoming links your website has, there is still a “fun” factor to seeing the score move. Many SEO firms advertise PageRank as an extremely important metric; the reality of the scores impact on SERP’s is actually not verified, however.

There is a confirmed Pagerank update that came out on November 7th 2011. We have seen increases in a number of our websites, some significant and some unchanged. This is likely to be one of the largest pagerank updates of the year, with Google doing their typical rolling pagerank updates like the one that was put out in June. This pagerank update lasted until mid July and for some early August, so don’t panic if you haven’t gotten any updates from PageRank yet!
