The latest release is Internet Explorer 9 which is available freely with the latest Windows operating systems. Latest or not, Internet explorer is also not perfect, and comes with its share of Microsoft problems.

Disabling add-ins is a good option, as add-ins tend to slow down your system. Upgrade to higher versions of the program. But if it’s the higher versions that are troubling you, maybe you should step down and try lower versions. Performing a clean boot (starting the computer with only Microsoft programs enabled) should also help you with this Microsoft problem. And then, the all time favorite, check for viruses and malware in your computer.
